It is a pleasure to serve as the second president of the Ivyand Pearls Community Advancement Foundation, Inc. The Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) organization exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. Members of Lambda Eta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. founded it in 2019 to increase the scope of academic support and community improvement in Gadsden and surrounding areas.
The Foundation aims to advance and support education bygiving students the financial assistance they need to pursue higher education. Additionally, by assisting charitable community programs, to create a path for the ongoing provision of services and programs to the Gadsden/Etowah County communities.
Our impact is profound. In the short time since ourestablishment, we have improved knowledge and awareness of issues affecting families, youth, and communities through our collaborative efforts with Lambda Eta Omega Chapter program initiatives. In addition, meritorious students are awarded scholarships totaling thousands of dollars to support their pursuit of higher education.
We cordially invite you to join us in making a difference by participating in community service activities, attending our events, and providing financial support. All contributions and donations are tax-deductible. Together, we can significantly enhance our community.
